Hawks defeat Huskies in girls bowling, 26-4

The Forest Hills Eastern girls bowling team earned a 26-4 victory over FHN on Tuesday. In Game 1, FHE posted a 197–187 advantage. Sophia Wolter rolled a 92, while Rylan Schaefer added a team-high 105 to secure four points in the opener. The Hawks built on that momentum in Game 2, improving to a 219 team total. Wolter led the way with a 110, and Schaefer followed closely with a 109 as FHE again captured four points. Forest Hills Eastern finished with a 416–350 edge in total regular-game pins. In Baker competition, the Hawks completed the sweep, winning 42–38 in Game 1 and 55–34 in Game 2 to earn all 10 Baker points (97–72 total). Forest Hills Eastern totaled 16 regular game points and 10 Baker points for 26 overall in a well-rounded team effort. The Hawks face FHN again, and GRCC on Wednesday.
