GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.- Forest Hills Eastern boys bowling turned in a strong performance, cruising past Grand Rapids Catholic Central in an OK White matchup by a final score of, 27-3. The Hawks set the tone early in individual play, winning both regular games and collecting 17 of 20 possible individual points. In Game 1, Forest Hills Eastern posted a team total of 710, led by solid contributions throughout the lineup, while GRCC finished at 581. The Hawks followed it up with an even stronger showing in Game 2, rolling a 723 team score to CC’s 565, securing another sweep of points. Forest Hills Eastern continued their momentum into baker play, where they were dominant from start to finish. The Hawks rolled games of 136 and 177, totaling 313, and swept baker points over GRCC, who totaled 269 in baker competition.
