Hawks girls basketball earns 4th win of season after shutting down Holland, 34-19

ADA, Mich.- Forest Hills Eastern delivered a strong defensive effort, shutting down Holland 34-19. The Hawks set the tone early with disciplined team defense, limiting Holland’s scoring chances and forcing turnovers throughout the game. Eastern built its lead steadily and never let Holland gain momentum, holding the Dutch to just 10-points in the first half. Offensively, Raena Scully led Forest Hills Eastern with 14 points. Maddie Brown and Kaylee Konwinski added 8 points, while Eastern received additional contributions across the lineup to round out the scoring. The Hawks improved to 4-3 on the season heading into a week of playing OK White rivals Forest Hills Central, and Forest Hills Northern.
